Travon Sexton, Principal

Travon Sexton is the co-founding Principal of the firm with more than 25 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to creating Wealth Preservation Partners in 2009, Travon spent 15 years with Lincoln Financial Group. Travon joined the Cleveland, OH office as a financial advisor in 1993 and gradually transitioned into a sales management and leadership role. In 2003, Travon was named Senior Regional Vice President and Managing Principal for the Virginia Beach and North Carolina offices. In 2005, he was promoted to Managing Director of the Southeast Regional Planning Group which consisted of 300 advisors and staff in 10 offices. Under his direction, the Southeast produced $56 million in gross dealer concessions (GDC) in 2006.

Travon currently lives in Canton with Sandy, his wife of 35 years. They have two children and three granddaughters. Travon is a huge sports fan and a self-proclaimed karaoke king. He and Sandy also enjoy shopping for antiques at local shops.
