Michael Grande, Wealth Manager
After starting his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers 20 years ago, Michael has held numerous investment and management positions including 10 years at Fleet Capital Corporation where he served as Underwriting Manager and Senior Vice President responsible for managing a staff of 4 underwriters and underwriting asset based and cash flow investments ranging from $10 million to $250 million. In 2001, Michael joined CapitalSource where he served as Director of Credit for the Corporate Finance Group overseeing a national staff of 20 investment analysts and credit officers. He was instrumental in building a $1.8 billion portfolio of investments, implementing credit policy and procedures while maintaining a write-off ratio of 38 basis points. He also started the Asset Based Lending Group at CapitalSource, growing the business to $200MM in assets over 12 months. After four successful years with CapitalSource, Michael joined Fortress Investment Group as a Managing Director in its Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund where he generated approximately $240MM in direct investments.
In 2007 Michael formed Peloton Capital Group which focuses on providing financial solutions to middle market companies by providing Senior Debt, Mezzanine and Equity financing. Michael has also successfully owned and operated many businesses in Connecticut and is involved in many charitable events having served as Chairman of “The Art of Wine and Food” which raised over $170,000 for children’s art programs and created “Ride America”, an indoor cycling event which raised over $40,000 to support cancer patients in Connecticut. He joins M Group to bring his many successful years in business and his knowledge to businesses and individuals in an effort to help them navigate these uncertain times and become the trusted advisor they deserve.
